Francesca Turauskis is the host of "Seize Your Adventure", a podcast focused on exploring the narratives of people who adventure with epilepsy. After being diagnosed with epilepsy in 2015, Fran hiked the Camino de Santiago solo two years later and last year, she took on a number of adventure challenges including a 100km Race to the Stones trail run.

During her hike in 2017, she became increasingly uncomfortable with descriptions such as 'brave' and 'inspirational' when people learned about her diagnosis. From there she was inspired to start normalising conversations around the condition, particularly in the outdoor adventure space. Her aim with her podcast is to ignite adventure in others and break down the misconceptions surrounding epilepsy.

In this episode, Fran talks openly about what inspired her to get started on her own adventures, the challenges she has faced both practically and psychologically and the benefits she has experienced, particularly with regards to her relationship with her body.
